It's sad that PSP wasn't even nominated. It has great games, but no one cares.

Not everybody will agree but the PS3 line up for me has been superior for the last two years and I can't see it being topped next year either.

Well, DS didnt got nomineed last year but no one laughed at it. In fact, lot of people got angry.

PSP deserved to be there more than the DS, sorry I just need to say it

Loco Roco
Patapon

all brought innovation, and were all really good ip, yet they were completely ignored. That honestly sucks.

Don't forget:

Monster Hunter, Resistance: Retribution, Gran Turismo, FF: Dissidia and Chinatown Wars.

I don't know what kind of problem people have with the PSP.

Well in 09 the most criticaly acclaimed PSP titles were:

GTA: Chinatown Wars - 90 META (ported from DS), Little Big Planet - 88 META (ported from PS3), PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe - 86 META (ported from PS3) and we can go on...

PSP had 10 criticaly acclaimed games in 09, while DS had 22. I'm not whining, just trying to justify why Gametrailers didn't bother nominating it. When I take in account, that in europe we've even got only half of those best rated titles... well atleast here in CZ.

Congratz to PS3/Sony. But they mustn't relax now. Next year will be another hard fought year.

PS3 is the only current-gen console I don't own. But you know what? I'm still going to agree. Between all the superb multiplat-titles this year and the massive win that is Uncharted 2, PS3 had a very good year. And that's not even mentioning other quality titles that have recieved a lot of praise like Killzone 2, Demon's Souls and inFamous.

As for the PSP debate, good god people, get over yourselves. Even if the PSP had a good year this year (which I'm not sure I think it did), the others had better years. Especially the DS.
