Yep.
Last games it was a lot of times bad guys who commented on deaths and acted disappointed.
One time even I got caught doing it, and I was praising the doctor for blocking my damn kill. >_>

Good point.
But as for the odd/even thing, it shouldn't really matter to the body count as long as they were spread out evenly. (Aside from it being twice as hard to eradicate them obviously.)
