Nintendo. First Game: The Legend of Zelda.

My parents owned an Atari 2600 since before I was born but my first gaming experience came from the two I mentioned above.

Atari and Nintendo both still work great to this day. :)

NES was so great that if my daughter ever wants to play video games when she grows up a bit, she will begin on the NES.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

I had two actually.  Inherited them both.

The first one i played though....

Check out those crazy controllers.

Actually playing a Bally Astrocade is my third memory.  Behind climbing stairs to play the bally astrocade... (Like climbing a mountain.. stairs were carpeted.) and being in an earthquake.  Which apparently is supposed to have happened before memories formed so it may of been a "False" memory from being told the story so much as a kid.

So depending on how you look at it.  I may have been playing videogames before I even had memories.  It certaintly explains my attachment to them i'd say.

NES

The Playstation with crash bandicoot as my first game.

no idea how to make this properly work

They worked like a dream actually.

The knob at the top worked both as a Joystick and a Knob.

So for example in a game like gunfight... you would use the knob like a joystick to move... twist the knob to change the direction your gun pointed in, and fired with the trigger.

That video does make it look like it controlled pretty well. I would have definitely played that game too as a kid.

Yeah, it's funny cause it even lets you control it in two ways.  When I was a kid I had to use two hands, but as an adult I can use 1 hand.

Also what was great was that it supported up to 4 players if you got extra controllers.  I have many fond memories of playing 4 player checkmate.

Inherited an Atari 2600 when I was 6.
