I thought the 2 DLC were stand alone? I was contemplating on buying them, but if you need GTA 4, then meh.

You need GTA 4 if you download the DLC but you can buy the Episodes from Liberty City game if you don't have GTA 4.

Sorry man, that's such a raw deal. For those in the future contemplating a Gay Tony or Lost and Damned purchase, it's much more worth it to get the Liberty City Episodes disc because it's standalone, its a physical product with a case, the disc (and a booklet too I imagine?) and you can choose to resell it if you want in the future.

People who downloaded the Lost and Damned before the disc version was out who don't want to spend $20 more for Gay Tony to have a disc.
