I played FF11 up to around 50ish (was a refresh whore). If this game is NOTHING like FF11 Ill play it.

If it takes away everything that FFXI did and puts a similar battle system that FFXII had, and less MMORPG centric quests (I know this would never happen).

I really don't like MMORPG's, but if they could reach a compromise between MMORPG mechanics and SP FF mechanics, that would make me ponder playing the game x)

If it was like White Knight Chronicles for example, then it'd be day 1 most likely. oh well though..

I'll likely play it if I can play it on my PC, I doubt I'll waste my time if I can only play it on my PS3 (or any console).

It's not that I have anything against an MMO on a console, I would actually prefer playing it on my PS3, it's just I can't hog the TV for the long amounts of time it would take to play whatever MMO.

If I get in the Beta and if I like what I play then I'll get it. But if it cost anything monthly then I aint getting it.

I'll look at reviews, check out the price, figure out how much I'll actually play it (MMORPG's take a lot of time, and if there's other games taking too much time, I'll probably skip this)

Oh, and if it's pay to play, I'll not bother at ALL.
Well, I'm screwed anyway, since it's definately going to be a monthly subscription..

I'm not going near another WoW scenario again.. (trapped for 3 years in that madness.. and I tend to try to be the best all the time.. that explain why I had full tier 3 on lvl 60, and also great gear on lvl 70.. went more arena that time, and got myself full S3 arena gear before I quit that shit.. I kinda lost all my friends and hopes of ever getting good grades after WoW, and since I quit, I've tried establish my life back again.. going quite good so far I guess)

I never make the same mistake twice, so I'll never go into a MMORPG again, even if it's free.. Not when I KNOW I'm going to love it..

i will play ff14:online regardless of price, because i dont mind paying for such a great involved experience like i had with ff11:online. :)

I will buy it for sure, I just hope they improved over 11.

11 was an awesome game, but they made it way too hard, grinding was a pain, finding groups was a pain, traveling to said location was a pain, wiping once, losing 10% of your experience (and at level 70 that was a few hours of grinding) was a pain, then waiting another few hours to find a replacement for that person(s) that left after said wipe was a pain..

I went back a few times a couple years ago, and they changed some stuff that made it better (too little, too late) such as the experience bracelets and chocobo's.

Oh, and Gil sellers that made everything on the AH cost millions of gil, yeah, I hated that too :)

Was a very good game though for it's time, and I am sure that Squeenix learnt from it's mistakes with 11, so, I will give it a go :P

I don't see the ideology behind paying every month, its something I can never do, it feels like a rip off.
