So as we can see Square Holds IP Sony owns publishing rights in NA, EU and Eidos on PC.
So PS3 only might seem likely especially with ff13 sales being pretty good

360 version could be published by SE or even Microsoft themselves.

Well In Japan yes but I think it would be a little difficult everywhere else...

The fact that a PC version exists opens the door for other platforms like the 360.

If it is for the HD, then i would not be surprise. But if it is true that Sony hold the game rights, then no, it wont happen.

But we really want a remake for this one? Geez... I want The World Ends With You 2 HD instead (Edit: Silly me, i mean KH3). :P

Maybe it has something to do with the name rather than the game itself?

Same game, but different names. Ninja gaiden 2 for xbox 360 and ninja gaiden SIGMA 2 for playstation 3.

Just my speculation.

IF the remake got made, which I still highly doubt, I fully expect it to be made with Crystal Tools and ported to both consoles. It would be financial suicide to being it to only 1 console – it would probably cost even more to make than FF XIII.

Well if this is an exclusive, I know I would see a lot of my buds who otherwise wouldn't buy a next gen console come on.

Why would it cost more? They all ready have all the character development, areas and storyline. I know that may not cost much but it should save a lot of dev time which makes up a lot of money?

why? they have story, music ect. finished already... and they have the engine for ff13versus and ff13...

Ot: my guess is that the remake will release on both the 360 and ps3, it might end up as a ps3 exclusive though if sony owns publishing rights. But i doubt it...

sony doesnt have anything to say where a ff7 remake would end up, if square-enix wants it on both ps3/360 then it will happen. simple as that.

That's because PS3's can't connect to XBL, silly! =P
