Forums - Nintendo - What´s the best Ace Attorney and Kirby game for the DS?

So, I don´t own a single Ace Attorney or Kirby game for my DS, but next month I plan to get both...thing is, I only want one Ace Attorney game and one Kirby game, and as far as I know there are about 4 Ace Attorney games and about 3 Kirby games already released, correct?

I´ll be checking out reviews and such, but I´d also like your opinions on what you think is definitely the best AA and Kirby games for the DS.

Thanks.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Kirby: Canvas Curse

Listen, you can't play just one Ace Attorney games, because the most important (and greatest) thing of the series is the story, and as a trilogy you must play all of them; so you must start from the beginning, from the first game, and then if you like it you'll probably enjoy more the other 2 games, because it's like reading a book, a great book!

About kirby I think Canvas Curse is the best out of Kirby's games on DS.

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)

Either get Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney or Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice. Either one of these two will be able to stand on its own, and you don't need to play the others to get the story.

As for Kirby?

Kirby Superstar Ultra is one of the best gaming packages ever. EVER.

For Kirby, I liked Canvas Curse: it's different from all the other Kirbys. For Phoenix Wright, I liked the 3rd one the best, but you'd have to play at least the first game for it to really work.

Canvas Curse is definitely a legitimate choice here, as it's the only one that really uses the DS hardware as well as possible. It was the first showcase for the platform, as I remember.

Kirby Super Ultra is more of a showcase of traditional Kirby at his best.

You can't go wrong with either

Superstar Ultra isn't just the best Kirby on DS, it's the best Kirby period.

Phoenix Wright 3 is the best (the final case of that game has one of the best stories in any game to date), but you have to start at the first game as it is a continuous story. Playing the third game without playing the first two is like reading The Return of the King without reading Fellowship or Two Towers.

Kirby Superstar is very easily the best Kirby game period; and one of the best platformers available.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Best Ace Attorney game-> Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney or Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations but I think you should follow the story and play the games like it should be played (Ace Attorney>And Justice For All>Trials and Tribulations>Apollo Justice). Just do what Buzzi said and go buy Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. You are a begginer, so you will be much more surprised with the series if you play this game first because you will be able to understand the series. It's like an introduction to the series, you won't have this introduction or the same feeling if you play the other games first.

Best Kirby game-> Kirby: Super Star Ultra because it's hard to get 100% and it's a fantastic Kirby experience. Squeak Squad/Mouse Attack is a fun game but it's very easy, you won't be disappointed if you buy this game but I would recommend Super Star Ultra. Canvas Curse isn't exactly like a normal Kirby game but I like it.
