Forums - Nintendo Discussion - A boy and his blob?

I bought this game at Best Buy this past Sunday. They were selling it at $20 rather than the $40 price tag. I saved $20 but I still think the developer should of got the full $40 just because this game is awesome.

Its a re imaging of the old NES game and it does it well with nice spruced up graphics and bright colors. The controls are easy and pick up and play. This game was selling out at all the Best Buys. I was lucky to find one behind another Wii game

Don't hesitate to pick this up, its certainly worth every penny!

I saw it selling for $20 too. It wasn't even out for a month, yet. I think it was around Thanksgiving. This game was on my must have list but I buy so many games (seriously, there is something wrong with me.) that I told myself that I didn't need to buy it.

I buy three types of games: Blockbuster games, games that have a low profile but I know are quality (the gut is NEVER wrong), or games that feature a hot female. A Boy and His Blob is one of those games that I KNOW is a great game. I'm buying it very soon. You should too. Never doubt the gut.

I am looking foward for it. It looks great. I'm gonna get it any time soon.

That's why I stopped reading reviews. I had no problems with the controls, but I used the classic controller. There are no motion controls. If you have a classic controller, I would suggest using that. The only thing I would have liked is if it used the direction pad to move instead of the control stick. But that's not a reason to not buy the game. If you like puzzle platformers, then I suggest you get it. It's great.

@d21lewis

You and me both. I cannot walk into a gamestore empty handed. If I walk out it will be at least 2 games or more. Its hard to pass up on those deals or used games because you might not see them again.

Look at it as a hobby and your a video game collector. That's what I grow to accept. It is an addiction but a good a addiction not a drug

I feel bad because I made the official thread for this game, yet I still haven't bought it.

Fortunately, it may be the smallest official thread in VGChartz history, so I know I'm not alone in not purchasing it.

controls are fine and the game is awesome!! you should try it

I've been considering buying the game for awhile now as well, the 19.99 price point at both Best Buy and Amazon is pretty hard to pass up!! I got Madworld for 9.99 at Best Buy on Sunday and saw A Boy and his Blob but just could not pull the trigger at that time!

^Oh dude I was so lucky to walk into Best Buy on Sunday and find one last copy of MadWorld left! I bought MadWorld, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift and A Boy and His Blob all the same day!

You better buy A Boy and His Blob though! That price ($20) is hard to refuse!
