Forums - Nintendo Discussion - silent hill for wii looks a little fuzzy on my vizio 22inch 1080p HDTV?

ok it is the only wii game i noticed that looks fuzzy on my HDTV. I have it on 480p and 16:9 and there shouldn't be any problems. I did notice when i turned down the sharpness on the tv the fuzzy stuff went away sort of.

It's not uncommon that survival horror games in general and Silent Hill titles in particular use filters to produce a different picture quality in order to support the intended mood of the game.

SO you are saying it is normal for it to be fuzzy because cursed moutain ain't fuzzy. It is actually clear

Rol isn't talking about a survival horror rule, he's talking about a tendency. The Silent Hill franchise has used grainy overlays before to make things look a bit more fuzzy. I don't know if that's the case here, but it certainly wouldn't be unprecedented within the franchise.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Sounds like a lighting problem to me. Try changing the lighting setting on your TV. I didn't find the game fuzzy at all, and I'm using a 40 inch 720p LCD.

yes, the filter makes it fuzzy, it's normal.
