The first one is good but there is no online feature which was a major let down for me. Now, I'm wondering if they will be a New Super Mario Bros. Wii 2 kinda like they made a sequel to Super Mario Galaxy 2. This time they should put online co-op.

Iwata said they will continue to make 2D Mario now, so almost certainly.

I doubt there'll be online though...

The DS game came out in 2006 and still sold several million copies in 2009. No reason to expect the Wii version to stop selling before 2012. I'd expect NSMB Zii, not NSMB Wii 2 at this rate.

Technically Super Mario bros wii 2 should be called Super Mario Bros 6 (NSMBDS=SMB4 NSMBWii=SMB5) Because there was no smb after smb 3.Don't know why they called it New should have kept the numbers.
