I spent christmas day at my partner's house and we had a Wii family Christmas.

Her dad got her mom a Wii for Christmas. She was ecstatic, as was her grandparents who love to play bowling at a friends house. And my partner and I got Wii Sports Resort. So after dinner we went downstairs, set it up to their bigscreen and Wii'd the night away. Bowling, tennis, golf. Then we put in sports resort, and while we only had one Motion +, we took turns experimenting with sword fighting, wakeboarding, jet skiing, table tennis, frisbee,archery and a bunch of others.

It's so awesome to see grandparents thrilled with videogames and to see the medium of videogames be damn social.

So who else had a Wii family Christmas?

I wanted to rent Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, but I wasn't too sure if it was good or not. Reviews are kind of all over the place, but my brother especially wants a Resident Evil 1-like experience again. Other than that, my Wii wasn't used except for DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi 3

We had a Wii family Christmas. Me my brother, cousins and aunt were playing Wii Sports Resort and my grandfather was watching thinking it was easy. Then he finally played and realized it wasn't easy. It was funny seeing him try to play basketball and archery .

We had a Wii/ps3 christmas, played NSMB Wii with 4 players for the first time which was a blast and we cracked out fat princess on the psn!!

I visited my girlfriend. It was the first time I had seen her in maybe 3 weeks. Then she handed me my present, which was Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. I proceeded to walk out of her room, then downstairs, then to her family room. I played that game nonstop. XD She got mad at me~ So worth it though.

I stealth murdered over a hundred people in Uncharted 2. I understand this is unrelated to your thread, but I think we can all agree that it's equally as heartwarming as bowling with grampy and mammy ^_^
