Nah dude I found it really comedic and a breath of fresh air as opposed to "xbox is doomed now" or "PS3 is doomed" or "Wii is just a toy" threads that I normally see in various sites including this one. I still love the reaction of those that get touchy about the mention of RROD lol, seriously cry more, it's already shown that the newer models have taken care of the problem so why cry about a joke based on the launch failures? I still woulda laughed if someone woulda pulled the "post one about the kid that got pissed about getting a PS3 and not being able to get games for it." People gotta learn to lighten up and relax, shit all 3 systems (and 2 handhelds) got their fair share of great games so enjoy those, then come here with a relaxed mentality and an open mind. VGC mods were ordered by corporate to ban 1 Million VGC accounts before the holiday season is over...you're just a victim of circumstance. So now all you have left to do is start a new account m8.

The post was always going to be flamebait as you say but posts don't get closed on this site for this reason, take a look at the ongoing thread regarding the GT5 "demo" which is another topic that is only ever going to cause trouble (and has also be debated elsewhere many times).  I criticize the mods here too much because I have an axe to grind with some of their actions (at least I'm honest) but in the leaving flamebait threads open regard, they're pretty unbiased and a lot of crap stays open that could be closed for all consoles.

Too bad BHR-3 but I'm not the only one here that thinks you deserved a ban at some point or other in the past.  The only bad thing is I guess if you were going for mod status in the future, somehow I don't think it will affect your chances giving your favoured platforms at least .

@kow - Will not happen, they'll get warned at best which is sad for alt accounts as they'll just carry on trolling with those accounts until banned then start another.

And do you have proof that these are alt. accounts? Maybe there are that many people who like the PS3 (or Wii) on here. Or are you stealth trolling sayin that only a few like PS3 and they just make tons of alt accounts to inflate their numbers?

Seriously though, you should stop being so sensitive. If they were trolling they would say something like, "God that kid is dumb for wanting a 360, it's only going to RROD." But they aren't. They're making a joke that you guys are taking too seriously. A lot of early 360's RRODed, so what's the big deal? MS has done what they can to try to alleviate the problem. To what extent, time will only tell. But I'm sure it's better than it was.

Really I could say the same thing about people still trying to argue that Blu-ray and PSN are crap, or that PS3 has no games. But you know what, I never ask them to be banned. As long as they are insulting an inanimate object, and not someone personally, I have no problem with it. You either take it with a grain of salt and walk on, or you can debate the guy. Really no point calling for bans, unless you're going to look at your own history and demand every "insulting" thing you have said should get you banned (speaking in general, don't really know all of your post history and I'm too lazy to look )
