Mario Party 8. From a fan of the rest of the series, I thought they could've done a lot better. Maybe 9?

Godfather, and Scarface, are not very good games at all. They got bad reviews, and they're both movie games.

Godfather has 77 on metacritic so by no means a bad game.

Zelda alone was worth my Wii, it was an amazing game. As for the everlasting graphics discussion.  Metroid 3 really is a  lot prettier than its Gamecube predecessors and that's fine by me. RE4 was amazing to play on Wii.

By now everyone nows what great games are in the pipeline (Galaxy, Brawl, Kart, bunch of 3rd aprty games).

First years are always like this. Look at what the PS3 has. PS3 owners must be dissapointed and they didn't get their Zelda and Metroid the first year. (FF & MGS)

I was going to make an immature comment towards the Godfather and Scarface post from Alex, but instead, I'll just shake my head in pity.

I have not been disappointed with any of my Wii game purchases. Anyone regreting buying skins for you wiimotes only to find out that nintendo is now giving some away?

Last gaming dissapointment purchase: Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg for Gamecube. I played it for a few days thinking it was fun; ....then I stepped back for a moment and asked myself: why are you playing this lame game!

I'm not saying the Wii is all cupcakes and sprinkles (to use Montana's phrase), but seriously if you guys are disappointed with it what the hell were you expecting out of it? Nintendo, contrary to popular belief, is only a company. They have their limits, and they are shoving out AAA software MUCH faster than they did on the Gamecube. 3rd parties expected the Wii to be doomed in the first year, and we ALL KNEW THIS. Everyone who paid attention should have expected crappy 3rd party support in the Wii's first year regardless of it's success. I mean seriously people, the Wii isn't the perfect system, but keep your expectations realistic.

Yeah, my friend has a Wii and I only thoroughly enjoy Zelda, and Resident Evil 4 (I played it on PS2, and GC, I just love that game). I just can't stand MP3, so I haven't played that but he tells me that he's pretty disappointed in that purchase...

Like Biggerboat, I'm curious as to why you can't stand MP3.  Especialy since you haven't played it yet.  Seriously, you can't stand a game you haven't played?  No wonder you're disappointed!  Seriously, I don't see how someone can enjoy Zelda and not Metroid, because they're basically the same game from different perspectives.  One is third person with a sword, the other is first person with power beams.  Other than that, they're both adventure games where you explore new areas, collect powerups (Heart containers?  Energy tanks?  Beam weapon upgrades?  Master Sword?  Hookshot?  Grapple Beam?  Anyone?), defeat enemies and bosses, and save the world.

The complaints I hear about the Wii's game library are just puzzling.  If I had a dime for every time someone said "it's great if you like party games" I'd have enough money to buy everyone on this message board their own Wii complete with ten good non-party games.  I've got half a dozen Wii games, and I don't even have time to buy and play several others that I'd like to enjoy.  That's right -- you heard it here first -- the Wii has too many games for me.  It's an utter disappointment.

I should clarify, by "played" I meant beat.  I have played it for an hour or so but I don't pass judgement on a game until I finish it, I was just saying that I have no drive to finish the game... sorry for the confusion.

@ Biggerboat

I didn't like it because it felt like more of the same of MP2 and 1.  I just felt like I had played this over before, the motion controls add some diversity to it, but I think it is hardly a AAA title.  I'd put it along the lines of Heavenly Sword, or Dead Rising in terms of quality of the title.  No, I don't have a thing against female bounty hunters, just not great female bounty hunter games.  :)

I think you're judging it way too early if you've only put an hour into the game. It's obviously going to be similiar to the previous installments of the series otherwise it wouldn't be a Prime game so I'm not really understanding that particular point. Of course you're entitled to your opinion though reviews rate MP3 signigicantly higher than the 2 games you mention, I can't really comment as I personally have played neither.

 I love you! <3

Wait... Lolita is back? I'm confused...

On topic: The Wii has actually had a pretty good year for games. The DS had a horrible first year and look at it now. You guys with your dust stories are smoking crack.
