To accept and believe fanatically over an object created to bring in revenue for an estranged untouchable group of people overseas is what I call the definition off a cult.
But by all means "BELIEVE"

cough... UNCHARTED 2 cough.....
Anyway, the PS3 has done far better than expected, I did not expect this big a sales jump and certainly not 1m sales in a week
Maybe if they can finish the financial year with losses under a billion U.S. I would believe in them. If they can end this quarter in the black I will be pleasantly surprised.
Tease.
With the prediction people are making etc. I'm really annoyed when people say sony was "arrogant and need to learn their lesson." The truth is they been selling their console for a lose to begin with. They didn't attempt to cheat their costumers in my opinion.
That being said, I'm upset with MS the most. Brand new 360 bought in the beginning of the year and it had to go though 3 repairs. I'm not going to justify it anymore, I'm done with it lol... And my ps3 is first launch 40gig and works without repairs!

Sony has never failed to deliver, that's why they are my system of choice.
Always fun to see that particular people immediately dismiss the statements by pointing to another aspect of the PS3 or Sony :) It's like people dismissing anything the 360 does, by pointing to its paid services or RROD. Usually, those same people immediately protest when the latter happens, but are fine with doing the former themselves...
lulz, believe? no thank you, thats going a stay to far, however they do deserve praise for Achieving there goals.
Well, I don't believe in Microsoft either, so I don't think that outselling the xbox is any accomplishment to be proud of.
You could say things like "the Wii is the weakest market leader ever, with less than 50% marketshare", or "second place is still quite good", or "they still sell better than last gen second and third place consoles".
What really matters, is hat both of them are horrible financial failures, any smaller company would have already gone bankrupt from them, they are very, very likely to end the generation with total numbers still in the red.
If no for their competition that showed that there is still room for expansion and profit, video gaming would be seen as a rapidly shrinking market. The only reason why they might try to enter the next generation is that they will try to be less suckcessful, and they might try to get a part of that new audience.
Start believing what? That Sony has found a way to actually outsell the Xbox 360 while they continue to lose money? I'm not so sure that is something we should really start congratulating Sony for. What happens next year when Microsoft counters and does their sprint? Will Sony cut price again and continue with their losses?
Has Sony really done anything to show us that they can continue to compete with competitors that have less expensive hardware? It's obvious that Sony loses when it comes to the game of profit margins and that it remains to be seen how much more Sony is willing to lose before we start seeing cracks in their armor.
