its quite obvious. but i thought in japan it will be morererer.

it wasn't so obvious for some of the VGCians

i too thought PS3 would do better this week in Japan.My expectations were between 250k-300k

I am still a little surprised, I thought it would only get to about 950k

More importantly, it means the PS3 is leading the 360 by over 2m this year

Actually, there is like 50% chance that it didn't. I mean look at the figure and take into account standard variance, we can't be really sure about this fascinating result.

there's also a possibility that PS3 did 1.1m cause PS3 sold 70k last week without FF13 bundles and if it sold all the FF13 bundles and the normal weekly sales around Christmas then PS3 should have sold around 300k in japan this.

we haven't seen Media Crates's this week's numbers.

Plus we don't look at the possibility whether t did or not,we talk whether the VGC estimates make PS3 sales 1m this week

I voted no and guessed 850k but I'm glad I was wrong. 88% yoy increase that week is just crazy...
