i recently got my 360 back got it fixed free, i had the 2 red turbines.

the trick is if u r multi owner is to play drive taxing games on ps3 eg. oblivion fallout etc that way ur 360 will last longer.

if your gonna buy new one just get an arcade, sell all your 360 games and u should have enough for an arcade.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

I often wondered, how much MS lost for trying to save some quids replacing faulty units with refurbished faulty ones, that RRoDed many times, instead of replacing them with the latest and more reliable ones since the beginning. I guess refurbishment was farmed out to cheap factories, so, while recovering working components made sense, it could have been even more sensible to mount them on new mobos whenever possible, as bad mobo design that with excessive thermic deformation strained too much the brittler lead-free soldering alloy was the main culprit for RRoDs.

My condolences go out to you and I hope you get your system back soon so you can enjoy your games. I partially feel your pain in the sense that my PS2 got stolen back in the day when I had JUST gotten home with a new copy of FFX (yes, I almost turned into a serial killer lol). I can understand putting up with it the first time with a launch system (lets face it, I heard PS2 launch systems suffered a bit), but a second time is just too much imo. I seriously hope the jasper models are a dramatic improvement so the 360 owners out there can enjoy gems like gears of war (only game which I continue to borrow a 360 for and play with friends), fable2,etc. but from what I read, so far so good. Anyways I hope you enjoy what's left of the holidays, get yourself a bottle of Johnny Walker black, red or blue label and enjoy whichever other systems you have in the meantime. Best of wishes.

sorry to hear about this dude , hope you get it back so you can play lfd2 soon
