It doesn't look good for the 360, I think people are starting to realize that the 360 is an unreliable POS and doesn't want to pay for something that will more than likely break in a few weeks or months.
Wii is still doing great, thats awesome.

Honestly do you actually believe this crap? I have had a 360 for 3 years with no trouble ..

Keep that attitude up and you won't last long

It's 8pm, my shift is over.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.

"See" you all on the other side.

PS: The "merry christmas" is for those who celebrate it of course.

For all the others in non-christmas countries or don't celebrate it regardless of where you are, enjoy your day as usual.

Despite PS3's huge hardware sales this week, 360 sold more software with 6,929,395 pieces of 360 software sold. I think that's pretty darn impressive for the console.

(360 needs some love in here too!

a big congratulations to Sony and the PS3. Really well deserved sales ^_^

Seece I love you, but grow up

Well, I'm on my 3rd ps3. Granted I do play it A LOT but isnt this wahat consoles are built for and I'm pretty sure that I've spent more on my ps3 hardware than the vast majority have spent replacing 360 hardware so that really wasnt necessary. Also, in NA 360 outsold ps3 last week so maybe people still dont "get it"? lol

On topic, did the 360 go over a mil any week after the $199 arcade hit? I'm not sure but I think it did that one week...no?

Wow, this shit is funny :D

PS3 sales are amazing but X360 is holding up very well too and depite the FFXIII's PS3 launch, HD software crown sill goes to X360.

I think that PS3 will hit 1m HW next week too.

While it's quite unlikely I wouldn't put 1 million next week out of the question. Several factors have arisen that might make this week better than what people were thinking. Firstly there will probably be a few displaced sales from last weekend because of that blizzard on the east coast. Secondly ioi thought that about 150k FFXIII bundles were sold but according to PS3 center only about 92k were which leads me to believe that the drop off in Japan next week won't be very precipitous. Finally this Saturday is Boxing Day.

Proudest Platinums:
1. Gran Turismo 5
2. Persona 4 Arena
3. Wipeout HD
4. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
5. Super Street Fighter 4

So nothing to do woith the price reduction of the PS3, the re-design and FFXIII in Japan then? please.

Ah c'mon, don't be mean, it's Christmas!  He could just as well argue the 360 wouldn't have sold anything without Halo, Gears and a couple of price drops, or that without exclusive MW2 bundles in US and UK it would have sold a lot less.  All the consoles are sold on games and manipulation of their price point over time.

The 360 has done fine this year all things considered, but this year favoured the PS3 for console shifting titles and price cut impact vs earlier years for the 360, plus it's earlier in its own lifecycle than the 360, you know that - don't let a trollish post goad you.  It isn't worth it IMHO.  Just report him for the troll on 360 if it bothers you.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Next week Wii should show 64 million and DS about 123 Million, Nice numbers!
