There is still hope that FFXIII will be an awesome game.

What this guy said about the game was pretty accurate, but I'm sure this won't bother most of the people that enjoy the series.

Its the type of game you won't know you like until you've played it. Don't let this one guy change how you feel about the game.

Wow that really is a negative view of FF13. Like others Versus excited me more than this but I'll still buy it though. If what this guy says is true and not horribly exaggerated then I'll probably hate this game.

I liked 12 because I had to intervene what everyone else did in order to insure a victory in harder battles and boss battles but if I'm fighting small fry or just grinding why not have auto battle. But if you don't need to manually do anything and just push X then I doubt anyone will like this "game" very much.

I was also afraid of the many cutscenes that Square-Enix seems to do now. This also proves that the 360 version won't be missing too much and it's just the numerous cutscenes that cause the need for 3 discs.

I bet I LOVE this damn game, FF hasn't let me down yet, and halfassed reviews from halfassed websites who have halfassedly played the game don't mean half a shit when it comes too the only important opinion, mine, and when I say "mine" I don't mean you and I, the purchaser and individual player, I mean "mine" ZenfoldorVGI, ftmfwb.

After seeing the map layout of the levels somebody posted a couple of days ago it completely turned me off from this game. I will probably get it eventually but after hearing all this and with a pretty lame battle system from what I saw IMO I no longer care about this game.

Most of those are from people who haven't played nearly as long as the guy who did the preview. He gave a lot more detail also so I think Ill stick with his interpretation of things. A lot of what he said were things I thought would be a problem.

I'll hold you to that

OT: Seems like a lot of mixed opinions but a lot of it seems as if you liked FFX you can like this game if you don't mind the 1 player combat.  I didn't like the story, though the combat was good but changing my favorite part might be bad :S I'm gonna try this game out but I don't expect a whole lot tbh.

If you're a fan of the series you'll be buying this no matter what.

If you're not a fan, I highly suggest going back and playing some of the older games before considering purchase of a new one.

Well, I know alot of people who have actually played the game and love it. Though there are also a few who don't like. Bottomline, play the game yourself to see if you like it or not yourself. The reviewers back when FF12 came out said that FFXII was an awesome game and look how that turned out.
