VGChartz has the PS3 and Wii closer than either MC or Famitsu I notice. And you're right, it has been an interesting race.

FFXIII and NSMB Wii bring back console domination in Japan.
Oh man, Graces totally bombed. Probably ~25k given it's position, looking more and more like it's only going to match KOR's total (220k) rather than hit the 300k+ it deserves. Thanks FFXIII. :/
On the bright side, Musou 3 and Momotaru 2010 are holding nicely, and Taiko 2's resurged on the holidays. Hope for Wii 3rd parties lives! Thanks NSMBWii. :D
Next tests are for Capcom in January with Biohazard DSC and TatsuCap UAS. I think Biohazard will do much worse (under 200k), but TatsuCap will improve (over 50k).
Mario's stunning though, and even pushing old titles back up the charts (NSMB1, Mario Kart Wii). PokePark looks like a surprise hit too, I bet it goes on to 300k+ at this rate.
FFXIII did amazingly, but hasn't seemed to push up other PS3 games the way Mario has for Wii. 16 Wii versus only 4 PS3 games in the top 50 is a pretty lopsided result given hardware sales this week...

I think PS3 game will see a little boast in next couple of weeks. FFXIII is a 60 hr game, so all these new users r bz in finishing it first n than they will go out n buy new stuff.

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
^Maybe there will be adjustments...?
Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:
If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

Why would Media Create adjust for Famitsu? I mean, both tracking services report different weekly numbers.
^I should have put a face or icon of some sort as this was said tongue in cheek..damn internet everything gets lost in translation lol.
