Forums - PC Discussion - Steam Holiday Sale has begun

I can't see the game you're talking about, it's probably region restricted, but yes, there are many packs & individual games with different prices

I don't know if anyone played Obulis, I bought it in the Puzzle Indie Pack (only $3!), and it's a damn fine game.

Zombie Bowl'O'Rama ($1) is also cool, it's from MumboJumbo, so it's structured like those games (an adventure mode and a freeplay after you finish it), it's basically bowling with zombies and power-ups.

BTW to everyone. I HIGHLY recommend AI War: Fleet Command. It's one of the most amazing RTS games ever.

Do you recommend that game because it is a good indie game or a good game? :P I just get the feeling at this site people like to praise some indie games just because they are indie..

I'm only going to buy from the daily sales for now. I don't want to buy a game only to see it 80% off a couple of days later.

£11.34 for GTA4, Mirrors Edge, Stalker and Defense Grid. Hard to turn down.

I'll definitely buy L4D2 when it drops.

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

my friend said the same, but I don't really think games with discounts are going to be daily deals, I bet they'll be EA and Activision and a few others that aren't with a discount yet.

People on this site have very little interest for indie games, in general. There's no hype for any indie title here, at all. Ever. It's sad, really...

Indie games usually lack polish and epicness, but they almost never lack passion or new ideas. And that passion and those new ideas usually make the games fun or at the very least interesting to play. It makes them good games, just because they are indie.

That said I have no idea if that game is good or not, since I haven't played it myself. I'm busy with playing Machinarium at the moment.

This is invisible text!

For now, I'll buy the Unreal Deal Pack (even thought I already have UT99 and UT2k4 in disc, but I can't activate them on steam).

UT + UT2k4 + UT3 + Unreal + Unreal 2 for 13 dollars :)

I cannot resist cheap games, even if i don't have the time to play them.

Gift them to me and I will tell you about them!

Repent or be destroyed

and while Valve prints money, what was supposed to be its biggest competitor is also thriving with sales and games:
