If we're talking "major" national markets though, it's really just US/UK for 360, Japan/France/Germany for PS3.

There are 4 days for the sale period this week after FFXIII was released and I would bet next week would not stay the same or get higher for PS3 hardware in Japan.
One thing I notice on FF thread is that exaggerate the success is totally welcomed while anytime someone brings up any valid point is an attack on the title. So basically if someone is celebrating the success of the title but exaggerate the fact, no one is allowed to correct him or it would be an attack on the title.
Also, for the ones who are vlowing about the number and calling people who underestimate it, aren't you the ones who also predicted 1.8 mil FW and/or the best selling game for Dec in Japan?

Also, the number doesn't really work out as listed. For 1.5 mil to be 55% of LT sales, the LT number needs to be a little more than 2.7 mil.

No because NSMBW will sell over 300k and reach 1.7 m atleast, and if the preview is right it will be over 1.8 m.
So FF XIII won't probably ever outsell NSMBW in Japan considering its legs.

Well it exceeded my predictions on both HW and SW.
Am I mistaken in thinking that these figures are not final?
I thought a couple more days are required to complete the total sales week.
If this is the case then both figures can increase by a huge margin.

With 100m in revenue and a whole lot more to come I am damn sure SE and Sony couldn't care less about how FF sold in the past.
