It looks like a really good game to me. I only have a couple gripes from what I hear so far.

Why did they screw up the PS3 version so badly. I thought that, by now, developers could port a game from the XBOX360 to PS3 with no problem as long as they give the effort. Me, not owning a XBOX360 is a little annoyed.

This may not be a gripe depending on how they pull it off. It is obvious the game has an over-the-top mature level like it is trying to hard. I'm hoping to find out that it is satirical. If not, I guess its not too big of a deal. I am playing The Witcher after all.

Actually, there can be. Depth is a pretty objective thing when you set standards for it.

may fav company is capcom and i enjoyed GOW much better then DMC and i love DMC. i dont think loving sony has anythin to do with it... its story is great and its based on greek mythos!! i mean its just great!!!!

i gotta say CGI has said nuthin wrong here. he likes a game more then the other which some people do not agree on (which is fine).  however  the OP said GOW and depth do not belong in same sentence. thats something that can be debated.

There is depth to God of War's combat system, but depth can be measured according to objective metrics, and among 3-D hack and slash it's pretty close to the bottom.

Because I thought the demo was utter crap.

Edit: Actually I will try it again later this evening. Maybe I missed something, although I don't think so (at least I'm not setting myself up to be disappointed. hehe).

WOW! Finally someone that shares my views on this! Awesome points. Chaos Legion was incredible, and such a good step in the right direction, too bad it wasn't well received.
