Forums - Sony - Some Really Dumb Questions About A Controller

My controller battery just died ( after 2 and 1/2 years of use ) and I need a replacement. I have this other controller but it's really messed ( the damn analogs ) So I got a couple of questions ....

1. Does Sony still repair / refurbish controllers ?

2. If so how much do they charge ?

Call em up and ask, I heard they replace dualshocks for free if the batteries crap out.

10$ out of warranty i believe for a dead battery.

i had a problem with the controller once,not with the batteries but with the controller analogues.

I didn't call Sony care cause i would have to ship to them and then they have to ship back to me,it takes alot of time.

so i went to my local gaming HW store and payed them and got it repaired.The repairing cost is minimal
