i had a problem with the controller once,not with the batteries but with the controller analogues.
I didn't call Sony care cause i would have to ship to them and then they have to ship back to me,it takes alot of time.
so i went to my local gaming HW store and payed them and got it repaired.The repairing cost is minimal
