As many of you know, the NPD Group released the latest hardware sales numbers for the month of November about a week ago. We’ve posted lifetime-to-date and year-to-date figures for all systems below.

Hmmm, I'm wondering if either the DS or the Wii can catch the PS2.

DS will, possibly by the end of next year.  Wii will if Nintendo keeps it on shelves long enough, its tracking 3m+ ahead of PS2 launch aligned iirc.

Interesting, 360 could make 18 mill this year!

so going by vgc ps3 sold another 1mill in all areas of americas other than the 50 states 360 1.1m and wii 2.7m this year

since release going by vgc ps3 sold another 1.7m in all areas other than 50 states 360 2.9m and wii 4.9m

You need to subtract 2 weeks off to match NPD numbers (end of November). Also NPD Canada announced 2 million Wiis sold by the end of November. That's 25.3 million Wiis in the US + Canada.

I think the rest of America accounts for 13% of the sales. Correct me please if I'm wrong.

3% can make a huge difference when we deal with such big numbers. In fact the numbers get much closer to the NPD numbers (with the exception of the Wii, which would still be quite a bit too high).

Ps3 is overtracked massvely

since there release going by vgc ps3 sold another 1.16m in all areas other than 50 states 360 2.42m and wii 3.68m?

so going by vgc since launch not including 09 ps3 only sold about 570k in all areas of americas not including the 50 states but in all of 09 ps3 sold almost the same amount it did since launch in just 1 year?

but ps3 had poor sales all of this year prior to the slim how did it do the same amount of sales outside of the 50 states it did in all of 06-08?
