I have the PC version and from what I've been told the console version is much much easier. I hear they removed the party member tactics from the console version and that they dumbed down the enemy AI to compensate.

Party members do have tactics in the console version. I'm not sure how much the enemy AI is dumbed down, if at all, but I need it to be dumber!
I dunno, I thought I heard Microsoft arranged platform exclusivity for the Mass Effect series before EA's acquisition of Bioware. Could be wrong though.

I don't think this will ever die down until it gets to the point releasing it would make no point. In the end, so long as EA have the rights to bring it to PS3 (which is the real big question) then they can chose to do so, and could even go so far as to get another developer to port it, as they did with Orange Box for example.
I don't think Mass Effect is coming to PS3, but that doesn't kill it and like I say nothing likely will specifically.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

It made sense for us, we built all of our tools around that and again we're leveraging all of that experience working with the 360 and Unreal technology... it just made sense to continue working on that for the sequel." "In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.
Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
