I use a logitech G25 steering wheel. Im about 1 sec slower with a DS3. If you want good control with the DS3 set your accelerator and brake to the L2 and R2 buttons. This will give you a much better control over the throttle and will result in a smoother lap.

@Oniichan

That's the setup i'm using, and L1 for downshift, R1 for upshift, even though the main problem is how sensitive the analogue stick is, and with TCS off, you almost end up struggling with the car at curve 4,6 and 8.

I still think I can do 1'38.2 or 1'38.1, but if I could improve the adherence in curve 6 specially, I think i'd have a shot at 1'37.9 xD

@nen-suer

Nen, i'm not using the Lestatarthas account, since that one is an American account :P I'm using Lestatsouls, to compete with Portuguese peers xD (yesterday I was second amongst the Portuguese racers, let's see if I can stay up there)

What traction control do you lot put the car on?

Never use traction control as it only slows you down in racing situations.

Unfortunately for this Time Trial event the Stock car does not have the option to turn traction control off or even lower it from the 7 its locked on. However with the tuned version can and you should turn off traction control.

Once your TC is off you must be very smooth with your acceleration. Do not give the tuned car 100% throttle until the wheels are pointing straight or you will go into either a spin or powerslide which will hamper your time. It will take time getting used to it but once you master it a whole new experience and sense of accomplishment will come over you.

Thanks, i did 1:41.820 with the traction control on so if i turn it off i will get a better time hopefully. Now i need to take my brave pills because turning TC off will make my car dance.

@nen suer
would be cool to people say if they are using dualshock or a wheel and add that info in the table of results...
