I thought amazon.co.uk didn't count, it was said in the previous thread.

Nevermind, saw it through the link that it has been confirmed to count.  The idea is pretty fun, I'll probably join in.

Yeah, I've bought from iTunes. Will buy from other sites later on in the week. The mid week single sales came in earlier. Rage - 187,000 X Factor - 110,000.

I created a thread but only Highway joined the group from the sounds of things:

By the way, I think there is a mass buying going on in the facebook group at 10pm (in 2 minutes).

I already have, twice

I bought my copy from Itunes today. I'm surprised that RATM is so far ahead of the X-Factor song, although I expect that will be quickly reversed in the next few days as the CD version of the X-Factor song is released and sales of RATM start to slow down.

Joined the FB group, might buy soon

On 7Digital you can gift it to Simon Cowell at simon.cowell@sonybmg.com

Either way Simon cowell gets money, rage against the machine record label is Sony, and Simon cowell has a contract working for Sony BMG, either way for him it will be a merry xmas!!

@OT I do hope RATM wins :)

Here's a nice video to go with it.

Simon Cowell runs Syco records which is a seperate branch from Epic records who own RATM. Even though they both fall under the Sony BMG umbrella, Simon won't see anything from the RATM sales.
