How many browsers does a Mac come with?

Safari (unless they changed things in the last couple years).

But the reason the European Union doesn't care is because the OS isn't a Monopoly. Also, I don't think Safari is integrated with the OS, like IE was. IE had to be installed or else you couldn't download updates to the OS.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

You gotta love the EU they use MS as there personal ATM and don't worry folks they'll come back to the well soon enough, they can't help themselves.

This is why businesses hate Fortress Europe (EU), but due to being similar to the North American market, you cannot avoid it.

Edit: Seriously what is the point of microsoft advertising competitors product.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

There was a great quote Bill Gates had when US was having the legal battle with Microsoft about anti competitive behavious.

He said something along the lines of...

"You know that all the lawyers and organizations suing us use Microsoft Windows and office products to file the lawsuit against us...and not the competition. You're welcome guys..."

So what is the end result here? Microsoft has to ship some lacking OS that doesn't even include a web browser? Sounds like consumers lose out on that one. A while back the EU wanted media playback removed from Windows as well. It almost sounds like the EU is the hands of a rival OS company that wants Windows to be the most feature lacking OS available.

If MS has to bundle rival products with theirs... that just seems bogus imo. That's be like making Burger King give all customers a free coupon for McDonald's or making a law that says that anyone who buys a Honda must first be driven to a Toyota dealership and given a test drive of a Toyota first.

So what is the EU going to have to say about Google's Chrome OS, it doesn't let you use other browser's at all because it essentially is it's own browser.
