Forums - Nintendo - Famitsu gives Spirit Tracks a 37/40!

ST takes a while to get into.. but once you have the whole map, the overworld is the best it's been since The Wind Waker.

I have it now. Its a regular Zelda for me.

I agree with puffy: the first hours in the game are kinda "standard Zelda" and are quite slow. You have to show a little bit of patience, and explore further and further to discover it's a really handsome game, full of (great) surprises... in the main quest, as well as in the sidequests...

It's easily becoming my favourite handheld Zelda, and i've played them all, so...

But some gamers have no patience at all, it has been the same with Okami, i still read complaints about the slow start, when it's the kind of game you have to enjoy slowly but surely... it just grows, and grows, and grows...

But really, if you're a "real" Zelda fan, there's no way this game could disappoint you: just go for it, and enjoy...

and an ugly drawing in 1080p will stay ugly forever..."

Zelda is my favourite franchise and I can't wait for Spirit Tracks. Personally I enjoyed Phantom Hourglass as a DS game, it makes excellent use of the hardware, but I thought it was a weak Zelda title.

I dont know how this game gets such a high score... im dissapointed

Could you elaborate as to why it does not deserve a 37?  I am pretty excited about it, but I have never played it, so I would like to hear from someone who has.

Thanks!

For starters i think its the worst Zelda ever made, i think it shouldnt be called Zelda at all , putting aside the silly plot, and the silly puzzles we have played already in Phantom Hourglass, the game is simply not that good, as any Nintendo game its really polished and can be really fun, but thats all there is to it, its another Aonuma Zelda trying to do something different based on a gimmick, in this case the Train,  that fact alone killed the experience for me, i love walking around Hyrule on my feet, or on Epona, and the boat was ok, there was still some freedom and the ocean was nice, but a Train!!! you are stuck riding that thing trough to the same rails, its like some silly rail shooter were you fire a cannon instead of a gun

Nintendo is the best videogames company ever!
