why isnt he playing assassins creed and fable for ideas! come on! at least this is going to be a realism game. I went back and played TP after just beating assassins creed 2 and I almost cried, I felt like I was on the N64! An updated mature LOZ is what we need.

Um, Fable?

Yeah...a "mature" Zelda game is what YOU need. What I need is just another awesome Zelda game that kicks ass and doesn't sell out to "teh hardcorrre" audience.

No reason to make make it appeal to casuals either. Just make a Zelda game that has a good balance of both?

The original had casual appeal, so it (casual appeal)'s not exactly anathema to me

Swords and dragons, that's all I can think of right now. (Oh, and the graphics are sooo cool)

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

I hope they do make it appeal to 'casuals'. The more accesible the better. I don't want Zelda to become a niche game. I'd love it to be a series that can top 10m to do that it will need to do what MKWii did appeal to all kinds of gamers.

That said, I'm looking forward to what Nintendo has in store for us.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

Lol wow what!?

If anything Monster Hunter is Zelda but without lock on.

Though nintendo would of been golden if they made the dungeons fun and took out the freakn repetition between each one, replacing them with something new.

But windwaker is pretty good for this, it diverted from OoT, so when Doggy Link came out that was good.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

The Official Huge Monster Hunter Thread:

The Hunt Begins 4/20/2010 =D

I'd be very interested to see what they have right now, if only to understand how they have Link doing things, but he (nor anything else) lacks a definite graphical style.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

As long as it's hard.  Hopefully that's what Super Guide is for.

See, there's the trick with game development. Keeping the existing fanbase happy while making the game appeal and enjoyable to those outside the existing fanbase. I know there was mention about super guide being used in Zelda but it wasn't concrete to my knowledge if they would indeed use it for Zelda.

Miyamoto is great at finding balance between veterans and newcomers and I hear he is heavily involved with the Wii version of Zelda. So I'm confident this game is in good hands.

The original patent for superguide was designed with Zelda in mind, that's why people are so heavily considering it.

Honestly, I've found everything since LttP to be easy.  I want something that will make me mad trying to figure out.  Or something that will really make me sweat during battle wondering if I will have enough health to defeat whatever it is I am fighting.
