Well for me, if it's a primarily a US based company/website then I tend to think of the US site as the primary one and the others as off-shoots, so to speak. I'm from the US and even though I'm not in the country for now, I still visit the US version of sites so I tend to regard those more highly than I would a secondary site from the same company (e.g. IGN AU).

That's entirely based on sentiment, though, not based on content, quality, arguments of said sites (which is probably the only reason to like or dislike a site of this nature)

To me MW2 was just another game released for the PS3. Played it for about 2 weeks...

Killzone2 is THE FPS of the year and won. I still play this

So IGN agrees with me Killzone2 is better than MW2

It's their opinions. I see nothing wrong.

I see nothing wrong too, but it's kinda weird when you look at their opinions and disagree with most of them and you know that in previous years is was not like that.

Then why

PS3 Best Fighting Game:
BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is over SF4
XBOX 360 Best Fighting Game:
SF4 is over BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger

I can't remember any big differences between PS3 and 360 versions of SF4 or BlazBlue. Do I miss something?

Also:

PC Best Sound:
Left 4 Dead 2 over CoD MW2
XBOX 360 Best Sound:
CoD MW2 over Left 4 Dead 2

The sound in both games is absolutly the same in PC and XBOX versions.

Also:
PC Best Story:
Dragon Age: Origins over Batman Arkham: Asylum
XBOX 360 Best Story:
Batman Arkham: Asylum over Dragon Age: Origins

I agree that there is a differences in gameplay between PC and XBOX, but the story is the same!

It seems to me that IGN wants to pleased the fans and do that by giving gold to as many as posible titles.
