@playstationgamer- Sure yeah hes done that, and hes an asshole for doing so' but jeez, theres such thing as going overboard in anything, and the news reporters have gone far beyond that point when tiger is concerned.

Not only they will stick with him, but he'll get an intercourse simulator, a time management program...

And who are you to call him 'scum'? What kind of moral high-horse are you on that gives you the right (or proper perspective) to judge someone like that. I mean seriously, people make mistakes, this whole thing is blown WAY out of proportion. People should just learn to mind their own business and if a man cheats on his wife (even if it's 50 times), that's between them. Outsiders should keep out.
But people like to gossip when their own lives are uninteresting.
I haven't bought a Tiger woods game since 05 so no biggie for me.
But that would be interesting to see what EA does. Losing the Tiger Woods name and making the next one PGA 2011 would give them a great chance to re-invent the franchise and make it AAA like they've done with NHL and FIFA and to some degree Madden. I think this could be great for them, plus they don't have to pay Tiger Woods anything if his name isn't there.

That's what they did with the Wii version and improved last year with WM+... Tiger Woods 2010 with WM+ is the best sports game I've played in years. Though I do want to pick up Fifa sometime soon and try that out.
As for losing the Tiger Woods name I think it totally lies in the hands of Tiger, EA probably sees this as a chance where all eyes are on Tiger ("any publicity is good publicity" as they say) and could increase interest. The PGA Tour still wants him they never dropped support for him so its not like they'd back out of the deal either if they called the PGA game Tiger Woods 2011... So honestly I don't see it dropping Tigers name unless he himself doesn't want the deal anymore.
MaxwellGT2000 - "Does the amount of times you beat it count towards how hardcore you are?"
Wii Friend Code - 5882 9717 7391 0918 (PM me if you add me), PSN - MaxwellGT2000, XBL - BlkKniteCecil, MaxwellGT2000

I never thought of that "any publicity..." part. Good call. It could be good for them.
I'd still like to see them re-invent the franchise though. It's gotten so stale over past years.
by next year everyone will pretty much forget about the whole situation, so unless tiger permanently quits golf, I'm sure there will be a lot more games.

well, assuming he got married, he probably threw in a "til death do us part" and all that jazz. So cheating on your wife/husband is pretty scummy. You don't even need to be on a moral high-horse to know that. However, there is no reason not to give him a second chance if he is truely sorry and not just sorry he got caught.
