He was banned in the big ban waive and bought a new xbox for online games but kept his banned one for shits and giggles.

I have to wait 4 more weeks for the game...

This makes me want to pick up one of these banned modded 360s off craigslist.

Like I have 2 360s...I've bought atleast 30 games thus far (and traded back 20 or so).

I'm kidding of course. I wouldn't bother getting a 360 thats modded cause i learned the golden rule when I was playing copied games for my dreamcast and ps2.

The rule is that I only play if I pay.

I personally don't like the whole "the world owes me somthing" attitude in general. Nope, world owes you nothing. Pay for what you get, it's how the world works.

Yeah I hear you guys. I spend a lot of money to import games. The same games some asshole downloads off Pirate Bay. Now I have no problem with backup especially considering kids tend to treat discs poorly. But outright piracy is bad for the industry. Now I'm not going to say I've never played a burned game as a sort of demo, but even then I always bought the game or realized it sucked and threw it away. Out of print games however are fair game as far as I'm concerned.

Sadly any Wii games have more seeds/leachers than they do actual sales during launch week. The 360 isn't far behind either, but it is slightly harder to mod which helps a little.

Yeah, I kept that at my girfreinds place...until it died 6 months ago. March 2006 manufactured date...I'm surprised it lasted this long. :)

What really pisses me off is the amount of money we have to pay for games because of Pirates. Imagine if new games cost $40. Think of how many more games you would buy!!

You really think piracy has that much of a price impact?

This will probably start another debate but people that pirate would not be buying 10% of the games if piracy wasn't around.

Also, some parts of the world would not even buy a game if it was 10 bucks as they don't have that kind of money.
