By restarting, do you mean unplugging and plugging the power cord?

Sometimes something is wrong with the servers. I had this problem a while ago but log in is fine now. Try to reinstall your wireless connection.

Is that the one that says DNS error along with the code?

I used to get that a lot and seemingly at random. Never noticed any problems when it happened.

Put your PS3 in a DMZ and hope for the best.
