i want a new nintendo IP that can be welcomed into the nintendo family.. yes theirs star fox, Kirby and Kid Icarus.. lets face it everyone wants those including me, but i want something that is completely new as well.

Yeah, it would be pretty cool. But it seems like the only new thing Nintendo wants to do is the Wii series... Which isn't bad, but not quite my piece of cake.

While I would like to see some old franchises revisited (Kirby!!) I'm more interested in Nintendo making all NEW games that couldn't be realized without wii controls. Games like Dewy, Elebits, Let's Tap, Zack & Wiki, etc.

Really Nintendo has only used the motion controls meaningfully in the Wii series of games. And that, I think is a shame.

There are lots of things they should do but they won't. Just have to deal with it.

Definitivelly!!

Nintendo should create at leats 2 or 3 new franchises for the next year. One of those, have to be AAA.

The motion controls were also nicely used in Twilight Princess, and Metroid Prime 3 has the best use of IR pointing amongst all Wii games...

But you've got a point, of course: Nintendo hasn't revolutionized the gameplay thanks to the wiimote yet, at least not like many of us could have imagined a few years ago... and even now, the WM+ is still underused... i mean, it's an incredible piece of hardware, but still only ONE Nintendo game using it, 18 months after the original announcement? That's kinda scary...

Of course, the next Zelda will be the next BIG thing... but anyway, more WM+ games using motion controls in a creative way would be nice, even more so than any revival Nintendo could think about... they still need to show 3rd parties some good examples, and pave the way, otherwise, the WM+ will be totally forgotten by everyone in the industry, and will never get any real support... and that would be a shame, too...

It's so true.  I just picked up Grand Slam Tennis and it's a joy to play with WM+  as are Tiger Woods and NHL2K10  (yes, that's right, Tiger has been spending a lot of time at my place too).   It's tragic more games aren't using it.   Especially Nintendo's!    I'm really hoping Take 2 puts some effort into this years MLB2k10 and adds WM+ and online.
