Are we looking at the same numbers? Ps3 is currently at the 3,1milj and there is only one week left of december. It will sell under 500k next week because christmas is over in west.

Yes. it will probably do about the same numbers in the west as X360 last year (370k) and with Japanese holiday boost still going on they will add something like ~120k to those numbers. So little under or over 500k next week.

@prophecy: Xbox 360 (being the better sales-console of the two last year) also dropped quite big after this week. So we could expect a similar drop for the PS3 now (although Japan might keep it a smidgen higher, as KillerMan stated)
