I feel like few will appreciate this (except probably Soriku), but the huge twist in Baten Kaitos. You know exactly what I'm talking about if you've played it.

Yea halo:CE and MW 2 were also some of my favorites,but I personaly really liked the twist about captain price coming back a little bit more,I wasnt expecting that after no mention of him half way through the game.

Halo: CE and the flood.

Problem with Bioshock, it consistently gave me System Shock deja vu. Actually that's a good thing, but still. It was new flesh slapped around an old skeleton.

I would have to say FFVI when the world ended.

This was before the internet ruined everything and not everything came with such a giant twist. I got to the floating island and I totally expected the game to end there.

I had already had a few twists, I had the full party, I was high level, and it just felt like the end of the game. Why wouldn't it end there?

@Twesterm, I loved in the old days when RPG's had two worlds, it was so amazing. Thinking the game was almost over because I'd explored everywhere, then BHAM.

I keep seeing people say KotoR and I just have to keep wondering how people didn't see that coming? o.O

And I also agree with the person that said Braid.
