Which game do you think was better? Kingdom Hearts 1 or Kingdom Hearts 2?

KH2, the length, the story (yes the story), the emotion, wow Kingdom hearts is really amazing

2, even though the story could be confusing as ****.

I much preferred Kingdom Hearts 1. The story wasn't a convoluted mess, the first 3 hours wasn't spent in a boring tutorial and the dialouge wasn't as childish. I also hated the invisible barriers that locked you into combat in 2. 2 did have the better combat though and the better length. Even though I love both of them, overall 2 was honestly a mess.

I'm going for Kingdom Hearts 1. I just had alot more fun with KH1. I loved both Kingdom Heart games though.

to me Kingdom Hearts 1 was more of a challenge, in KH2 you had all of these abilies and in-game actions and like a 20 combo attack. I'm not bashing KH2, I love it, but challenge wise KH1 takes the cake.(though I think Sephiroth was a tad bit tougher in KH2) so i'm going with KH1

I've said this multiple times, and probably everyone has heard it already, but here goes again.

I think KH1 sucks. I think KH2 is simply fantastic. The original has one of the worst cameras ever put in a videogame, your party members are idiots and the game controls really badly (come on, was it so difficult to implement camera control with right analog). The story was ok, nothing incredible, but nothing to criticize either, it just got ruined by a very poor gameplay (actually, not gameplay, the idea is great, but the execution was really poor)

Move on to the second, and you have a game that fixes every single flaw of the first. Camera control, at last. This fix alone makes it infinitely better than the first game for me. More intelligent party members, perfect controls. Skippable cutscenes! Plus, they added the drives that are simply amazing. The new more complex story fits the game really well too.
So, in all, KH2 is everything the first should have been, and more, much more

EDIT: And as Mirson said, Gummi Ship in KH1 sucks, Gummi Ship in KH2 is actually fun

I liked Kingdom Hearts 2 more. The first one had terrible controls, and the camera was annoying. Those were fixed in KH2. The only levels that I enjoyed from the first one was Hollow Bastion and beyond. Also the gummi ship levels in part 1 were just dull; they were a blast in KH2. Kingdom Hearts 2 is quite possibly the best action-RPG I've played on the PS2.

KH1, by far, no questions asked.
