Forums - Nintendo - E-mail third party to complain

Do you know how ridiculous it is for you to complain about the quality of a game you didn't even buy? A game that hasn't even been released?

Around the Network

This is a new phenomenon. I can't even remember Gamecube owners pulling a stunt like this.

why blame Nintendo? they are single-handily holding their console up, while third parties continuously bitch and whine like babies, and expect to be pampaered, put on a pedastle and treated like gods.

come try out the computer game i've been working on for my high school senior project, titled sling ball. http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=76669&page=1

you can view a few screenshots from the game in my photo album here; http://www.vgchartz.com/photos/album.php?album=2312

Vote with your dollars. Don't pay for games you don't want.

In the twisted logic of this industry, that backfires. We reject their games, and they use that as an excuse to just drop support entirely (THQ ran with this. They ignored the inherent flaws in Deadly Creatures, blamed the Wii audience, and dropped most of their support)

Basically, we have to accept what they give us, and even then that doesn't necessarily lead to better support (see Darkside Chronicles being given after Umbrella Chronicles, despite promises that they could be going to something more traditional)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

SE has no obligation to make good Wii games, or indeed, ANY Wii games. This goes for all platforms and all (third party) companies.

But what is funny about your argument is that they do make great games for other platforms, but the Wii is just again forgotten.

Stop it with the complaining. Let us check what games Square Enix(Not Eidos) has released this gen

Xbox 360

  • Star Ocean: The Last Hope
  • The Last Remnant
  • Project Slypheed
  • Final Fantasy XI
  • Infinite Undiscovery

How many of those are quality titles? 1? That is all I can see

Let us look at the PS3

PS3

  • None

That is a whole lot... -_____-

Wii

  • Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers
  • Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time
  • Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors
  • Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon
  • Hagane no Renkinjutsushi: Akatsuki no Ouji
  • Fullmetal Alchemist: Daughter of the Dusk
  • Soul Eater: Monotone Princess

Stop your complaining!!

guiduc, Square-Enix doesn't owe you nothing.

I don't understand why some people want Devs to release games on their specific platform of choice.

1. You must follow games where they are (example: I own a PS3, but if I like Madworld, I'll go buy a Wii also, I won't cry screaming Sega to release Madworld on PS3.)

2. You must NOT follow console HOPING it will have the games you want (Sony fans who wanted RPGs in 2006, 2007 and 2008 thinking they would release on PS3)

  • Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers not released outside of Japan (yet)
  • Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time

So, let's see.

What we actually have is two 360 titles (one is actually a PS2 title) vs one Wii title, and the Wii title is essentially a port of the DS version.

S-E support isn't that great for either.

Actually, it's because they are multiplatform that I'm complaining. Most of the big games are multiplatform (Modern Warfare 2, Assassin's Creed 2) and the Wii doesn't even get one of those games. You own a 360 and a PS3 as I see. I own a Wii, and it's particularly awful to not get those. Final Fantasy XIII is a good example.

Nintendo? Why? They are supporting their hardware by themselves.

Of course we should blame Nintendo. We should also burn MS with pitchforks for this game.

It's on the 360. So why does MS come out with such shitty games?

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
