One thread has 4 MILLION LTD, this one has 7 million in a few weeks.

Anyone who has purchased a 360 did it to play HALO Reach except for a few 1 vs 100 fans, they know who they are. twesterm.

Wake up guys, Gears of War 2 made 2.5 mil in one week.. why not Reach ??

lets just hope the game kicks ass. Why people post these rediculous sales predictions...and then label it as a failure when it doesnt reach them...I will never know.

I think Halo Reach will be another high maginitude game, blowing out the competition around it, since it returning back to the original FPS Halo of old, and adding a new engine, different take on the story, and most likely, learning from the issues people had with ODST, particularly the length of the campaign.

ODST sold 2.5+ million despite being a glorified expansion.  Anyone who thinks that, Reach will sell below 200% of ODST, is full of wishful thinking.

Beat MW2?  No, it won't, because that game has a gargantuan following.  Not even a Halo game can achieve those obscene numbers.  No game this gen will sell as fast in a short time (maybe lifetime, like a New Super Mario Bros Wii).  And don't give me this "God of War will" crap, that's fanboy talk. 

God of War, for it's violence alone, will not reach the mainstream like other big time selling games can - ESPECIALLY Mario.  Also, Halo does a good job keeping the rating down to at most, a Teen rating, which is a smart move.

You people are freaking crazy. What can I bet all the people saying "just over 2m"? Want to bet signatures or something?

So, you think the Halo attach rate is going to go from 53.3% for 3, to 10% for Reach? Rigghht.

I will bet you right here right now dsage, Halo Reach will sell at LEAST 5 times what God of War 3 does, 1st month versus first month NPD. (And thats a very, very conservative prediction on my part! Since the last highly hyped PS3 exclusive, Uncharted 2, sold just over 500k 1st NPD). Reach 1st NPD Ten times as much as GOW3's isn't at all unlikely, and 15 times is possible.

I do believe this is the worst 360-related sales prediction I've ever seen.

(There have been even crazier Wii- and PS3-related predictions, but not many.)
