2K Reviving Spec-Ops Series
Budget series gets revamped.
US, December 12, 2009 - Officially announced during tonight's Spike VGA show, 2k will be publishing Spec Ops: The Line, a completely new title based off the budget PlayStation-era action series.
Developed by Yager, a German developer, for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, the game "challenges players' morality by putting them in the middle of unspeakable situations where unimaginative choices affecting human life must be made," according to its website.
Spec Ops: The Line, a third-person shooter, is set in a post-apocalyptic Dubai, where sand has completely overtaken the city. From the trailer, it seems cover plays an important role in staying alive.
Graphically speaking, Spec Ops: The Line is very reminiscent of Guerilla Games' Killzone 2 with an impressive display of animations and epic-looking fire fights.
No release date was given.

This game looks really good and awesome. I think it'll become a great game and though I do wish it'd release next year, I'm hoping it for a 2011 release coz I've got waaaaay too many games to buy next year.
Anyone else impressed with Spec Ops: The Line?
