Why so many accolades for two of the shittiest films this year (Transformers 2 and Origins: Wolverine)?

Hooray for a show with 30 whole seconds relevant to the largest console and handheld maker!

and why no individualized awards for the two handhelds, yet there is a separate "Team Sports" and "Individual Sports" award?

Though i think their awards will reflect most of what the media puts out, except in the voice acting categories. Graphics is a crapshoot, too. Between the various major contenders, that just comes down to personal taste.

Not necessarily. Uncharted 2 was more of a fusion of elements, even though it was most prominently an action game. An honest assertion could be made that Uncharted 2 was best of the year, but that Assassin's Creed 2 surpassed it in Action elements (though i would quantify ACII as an Adventure game, but that's a whole other kettle of fish)

I played it, as well as Uncharted 2 and Batman: AA and Jack Black is the last on the list of possibles within those three games for me.  Nolan from U2 and Mark and Harley from Batman: AA are all better voice actors.

Highest metascore for a game which the developers didn't pay for high scores for.

But seriously, it means original soundtrack, i.e. developed in-house or created solely for the game.
