Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Super Meat Boy manual banned by Nintendo

December 12, 2009 by RawmeatCowboy Filed Under: Wii, WiiWare

You know how most Wii games have a screen that show you how to hold the controller for play? Super Meat Boy has one of those, and Team Meat proposed something a little different.

Nintendo rejected the idea, of course. What was their reasoning? They thought people would think that they could get their Wiimote wet. Sure Nintendo, that's the reason... Thanks to BAMtendo for the heads up!

Lol :P
That was very cool, I don't understand why they banned it.

Is that blood? What the hell?

Kimi wa ne tashika ni ano toki watashi no soba ni ita

Itsudatte itsudatte itsudatte

Sugu yoko de waratteita

Nakushitemo torimodosu kimi wo

I will never leave you

I think its a reference to the meat character, not blood per se.

Makes sense to me you wouldn't want people to think they can play the wii with bloody hands.

Now I am curious can the wiimote get wet?

I don't think "banned" means what you think it does. The image was rejected.

That's the same isn't it? I mean they weren't allowed to use it, that's why I thought banned meant.

It would've been cool, but that's an instructional screen and some people are dumb. If the wiimote can handle being drenched in blood than any liquid would be fine. Right?

I dunno, but I do know that it will blend!
