rankings are subjective and often times bought/manipulated.

Unless you are Borg-like, and have the same mind, it's a terrible metric for quality. Everybody experiences games in a different way, to start with. Secondly, this generation has been a Disneyland of moneyhats and free trips with gifts to reviewers.
