PC gaming needs more exclusives one GOTY worthy one isn't enough, even if Gragon age origins is only really good on PC from what I have herd, console ports are just cheap money grabs. But next few years Blizzard will be owning GOTY with Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 part 1 2 and 3. Valve with Half-Life 2 ep3, Crytech with Crysis 3 (the main platform will still be PC).

What about Sims 3?

IGN gave it a 8.9, but it's probably hard to nominate Sims 3 when you skip or forget the simulation category in the first place.

I never played Sims 3, but I think it's ridiculous for a VG website to completely ignore a game which at the same time was critically acclaimed and the most succesful PC game of the year (> 6 million copies sold?).

How did they miss the simulation category?

it's too bad that IGN PC is still relevant, they shouldn't be.

also, it's funny how they left some games out of the categories even if the scores weren't really lower than 8. Tropico 3, Red Faction: Guerrilla, Order of War, League of Legends, King's Bounty: Armored Princess (oh yeah, they didn't review it!), Dawn of Discovery, Hearts of Iron 3, Trine,

Rather bad year for the PC.
Next year will hopefully be better.

Perhaps its just a weak list, and not a weak year, hmm...
