SMG2 will be four times better than NSMB Wii, so it will sell 1/4 as much. I believe that's how it works on Wii.

SMG2 will be a single player game, so it will be 1/4 the fun that NSMB Wii is (at the very most). Mathematics, logic and common sense are all on my side. All you have is bitterness, tears and a hot avatar.

MAG has 256 players so it will be... a lot better than NSMB Wii by your logic.

Online multiplayer counts for nothing. If it did, NSMB Wii would have had online play.

Nothing you say matters. You don't have a PC tag under your avatar so your credibility is zero.

Being serious now, I think SMG 2 will outsell the first game and top 10 million!

New Super Mario Bros. Wii

I see it selling 16.25 million lifetime.

Super Mario Galaxy 2

I see it selling 6.5 million lifetime.

So yea, New Super Mario Bros. Wii will sell 2.5 times more units than Super Mario Galaxy 2, provided this happens.

Pixel Art can be fun.

I'd say about 7 million for Galaxy 2, I can't see it selling more than Galaxy 1, or even the same amount.

About 18 million for NSMB Wii. Wii sell amazingly for a console game, but NSMB DS has the slight advantage since the DS has around 2x the userbase.

I think it will have trouble hitting 4 times as much.

My guess is 6 million SMG 2 and 23 million NSMB Wii

super mario galaxy 2 9 mil sales life time
first week 800k

nsmbwii would be 26 mil lifetime.

The better question to ask IMO, is how many more copies could NSMB Wii sell if it were an even better game?

Personally, I'm not into the multiplayer aspect in the least, but whatever, it doesn't hurt to include it. The thing is, NSMB DS wasn't built around this dynamic and its sales are similarly stellar. I just think that the DS game suits the DS wonderfully whereas the Wii version could have been much, much better; more akin to something as deep and amazing as Super Mario World as far as single player.

That's difficult to answer, because NSMB Wii already sold amazingly well as it is. It released three and a half years after the DS game, but is only about four million copies behind in sales.

Personally I would say that NSMB Wii is okay as it is and Nintendo should have made a sequel with a Super Mario World like map and actually new world themes for this holiday season. Nobody would have complained and the sales of the first game would have gotten a boost by the interest sparked with a sequel.

That Super Mario World like map is the only thing I missed in the game... Btw let me ask you a question, how many copies you think New Super Mii can sell if released in the Wii U launch window?

New Super mario Mii. launch window and soemtimes on bundle i will say 35mil.

Switch!!!
