is it just me or do cartoon suck nowadays. I am shock at howmuch rubbish is on cartoon network.I am not sure how it is else were but in uk wow it poor.With show like Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes Codename: Kids Next Door legion of hero.These cartoon do not do anything for me. However DBZ I remember runing home to watch this moment http://youtube.com/watch?v=jusqQPeg6rM . That is wanna best moments in tv history for me anyway along with x-men spiderman pokemon (1st theme tune was deep)samurai jack incredible hulk  . So what do you guys think about cartoons nowadays. I believe they dont have any inspiration and it looks like they took half a hour to make and entire series. What do you think ? Even progamme like batman tas and superman tas they were amazing and they evoke emotion .Closest stuff that do that now are anime such bleach naruto .Naruto english version is very bad thou. when he says believe it sound kinda peverted. Are cartoon going to improve or is this it.

In my opinion I think that tv in general has taken a sharp decline in quality. I use to get home from school and sit my ass down in front of the tv and watch some amazing shows, now theres nothing but reality shows (which i hate) and unfunny sitcoms and crappy kids cartoons. Though this might be a good thing for me because my health has improved greatly in the last couple years.

Welcome to growing up, where what you used to watch (They're the world's most fearsome fighting team! They're hero's in a half shell and their green!) was so much better than the crap that's on now a days.

Mostly because of fond memories, and the fact you're a tiny bit more refined now.

i dont think so i was just watching somethings last month call gaint robo made in 1993 i reckon that was the most deepest anime i ever seen. i just dont think these cartoon put any effort of emotion

Pfft. Dragon Ball Z was nowhere near as good as Batman: The Animated Series.

I was with you on the title up until DBZ.

I do think most cartoons can't hold up to classic cartoons... but DBZ isn't my measuring point... cause in my opinion that show went from good, to great, to stupid, to over the top.

It got old once it became apparent that DBZ was really titled as someone put it "Waiting for Goku."

Of course nostalgia plays a part too. I loved Voltron as a kid. And i love it now, but for a different reason, the voices. Anyone not a main character has a ridiculious voice because it's obvious they only had like 4 voice actors. The little girls for example sound like guys pretending to be women protending to be kids.

Then all the edits where people were supposed to die, but instead were editing with quick asides to make it seem like everyone lived.

"Yes my giant monster lick them!" or my favorite... watching someone die in Lance's arms... then him say "Your alright though, i'll take you back to your planet after i beat this Robeast!" Then the aside afterwords about how she's doing fine even though they never show her onscreen again.

Twesterm, the turtles and transformers, GI Joe and He Man were better than DBZ right? :P

Yeah they were! I suppose I should have said he had two counts of epic failure:

1) He thinks that DBZ is the epitome cartoon goodness-- you know, that show that if you watch it with your eyes closed it sounds like gay men doing each other and where nothing happens for ten episodes straight.

2) He failed to find the enter key.
