Forums - Nintendo - You know what the best thing about the Mega Man 10 announcement is?

I hope we can slide and have the Mega Buster this time. I won't lie, Mega Man IV is my favorite 8-bit game, followed by III, followed by II.

Currently playing: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, NBA2k11, Metal Gear Solid, Picross 3d

I dont know if Im excited for this one. Megaman 9 was an excercise in frustration for me... I love megaman and side scrolling games but that game was just cheap.

I guess I love Megaman X series more...we need one fo those.

Megaman 9 was easy! What was your problem with the game?

It was too frustrating. Those jump traps are timed so you always get caught if you follow your instinct on when to jump...

I grew up with 16 bit and on sidescrolling. 8 bit stuff is cool...but I never feel at home with it.

...would you

....would you say you're a Mega Man noob?

(this is not an insult, I'm actually curious as to if that is how you would describe yourself)

Indeed. I played the X series growing up. Missed most NES ones....

Mega Man 9 was the easiest 8-bit Mega Man game out of all of them for me. Maybe it was because I played it with a Wii Remote rather than a Gamecube controller (played 1-8 on the GC Collection). Either way 9 was fairly easy for me.

Can't wait for 10!

Yup...downloadable AND the fact that the graphics doesn't require much..

I wish it was 2.5D instead of 8-bit 2D.

Really? O.o I think a lot of people would disagree with you on that point. I sure prefer it the way it is.

Multiplat?

Oh, 2 month release, shucks.

Slide would be fine but they need to do away with the Mega Buster completely...Well except giving it to ProtoMan. I just think the formula works best when you don't have the Mega Buster, I'd rather have the game continue focusing on the robot master weapons, the Mega Buster just takes away that good feeling when you get a new weapon.
