You have 1 flashlight in Silent Hill and thats pretty much 89% of the time so if shadows look terrible it ruins athmosphere and experience.

6.5 is pretty avarage with Silent Hill.

I actually used to think quite highly of GI (a long long time ago). they don't like the wii that much is clear but they've also gotten alot of 360 reviews wrong IMHO. In my eyes GI no longer has any credibility left whatsoever.

Then stop reading them... Do you really expect all journalists to consider graphics as unimportant ?


I'm sorry to say this but they are doing their job. If their opinion is that a golf game didn't really need the extra-content but better graphics and more precise controls instead then let them be and move to an all-Nintendo site.

I'm not sure because of your wording, but you do realise that the Wii-version had both all of that extra content and way more precise controls, right? While the other version had better graphics, worse controls and less content. And they all got the same scores.

Gameinformer reviewer are very biased about the Wii, perhaps Wii games don't sell good at gamestop?

They probably just reviewed one version and gave them all the same score.

Don't take this the wrong way but I've played every first party Wii game this gen so far (with a few exeptions) and the only one I liked was NSMB and Mario Kart Wii, I didnt even like Mario Galaxy although I can see why others would.

Never said graphics were not important, but to say they're the king deciding factor and hold them to the standard of PS360 graphics is bullshit. If we were going by "ONE STANDARD FOR ALL" then why don't all console FPS games automatically lose 2 points for handling like trying to paint with boxing gloves compared to the PC or PS360 graphics being crap because of low resolution and pathetic draw distance (GTA 4 is a good example)?

They're doing their job but the problem is they suck ass at their job, which is the whole point of this thread. Were you actually going to contribute to the conversation or did you just come in to drop your hip, edgy, totally-in-your-face wisdom on us all?

The "just a golf game" wasn't really just any golf game, it's the first perfect 1:1 control golf game that had a LOT of added content and it further illustrated the point the OP was trying to make.  The PS30 version had less precise controls, less content, same online, and the only single solitary thing it had going for it was graphics.

How can a wii-mote be more precise than a pad ? Show me a review stating the HD version had worse controls. Please ! I beg of you ! PLEASE !
